We should always honor those who step up and do what is necessary, defending those around us. He demonstrated what true heroism is.

I was genuinely surprised when I saw his photo. But on reflection and thinking back over the men that I have known over my life, it makes sense. What counts is what we do with the time that we are here, not how long we are here.
