Today, we are sharing two videos. The first is an explanation about the wisdom of buying cheaper, older cars, rather than new models. It is well worth your time, as it provides some sound reasoning. It might be one of the best short pieces of financial advice, especially for younger folks, that I have seen. The second is a clip from the movie The Gambler, and provides a succinct perspective on how folks should view money. NB: the movie clip does have quite a bit of bad language, but the lesson is invaluable.

I have one of the money-pit cars (Audi A4) Scotty warns about. I really like the car, but the span of time between having to fix something expensive is short. Selling it soon.
