Living in the Age of the Mad Scientist

Most of us are familiar with the trope of the Mad Scientist: The highly intelligent, highly educated individual in a comic book or movie that is so wrapped up in his pet project that he creates a world destroying super weapon. He is usually accompanied by rants about the “ignorant fools” who couldn’t see the necessity for the invention, or even worse, were deeply concerned about how it could be misused. The hero must then find a way to stop the mad scientist.

It seems that we have somehow managed to find ourselves in a world filled with mad scientists.

Example 1:The Trans Agenda

Our first example of how Mad Scientists are loose in the world is the Trans Agenda. When you look at what is done to “transition” those with some kind of gender confusion it becomes clear that these people are indeed Mad. They propose to “block puberty” and then through a cocktail of hormones and surgeries transform an individual who is male into a female (or alternately a female into a male). But when you look at what actually happens with these surgeries it soon becomes apparent that these people are nothing more than mad scientists who are using people with mental and/or emotional problems as their guinea pigs to see just what they can do. And they leave a trail of broken and wrecked human beings in their wake.

Example 2: Vaccines

This one is a little contentious. Especially post 2020. Of course, the Covid Vaccines are the poster child for something to come from a Mad Scientist. And in this case, we even know the name of the Mad Scientist himself, Tony Fauci. It is well known that one of Fauci’s passions was trying to find a coronavirus vaccine and he thought that MRNA technology was finally going to make it possible. There is no question that Fauci abused his position at NIAID and was involved in Gain of Function research at the Wuhan lab in a blatant end run around Federal restrictions. But you could write a book about that, and some people have. The MRNA covid vaccines were pushed through, granted emergency use authorization, and then granted approval through the emergency use provisions of law. They were pushed on the US populace and threats were made against your livelihood if you refused to take them. They were neither safe nor effective. What we saw was Mad Scientist 101 on display. They wanted to see how the MRNA tech did and they didn’t care who they hurt.

But that’s not even the most astonishing story of the science community going mad with power to push their pet projects in the vaccine world. Did you know that there are some vaccines that are made using cells taken from aborted babies? The United States MMR II Vaccine is one of these (specifically the Rubella portion. But in the US it’s only available as a combo shot so we will continue to refer to it as the MMR). The MMR is on the Vaccine Schedule, so every state, every school system (public and private), and, just about every pediatrician, requires that you give it to your child. Or else. Pediatricians will literally refuse to treat your child unless you agree to have them injected with something made from the body of a murdered baby. And this is a government backed regime. You can’t make this stuff up.

Example 3: COVID

We already talked about the covid vaccines. But it’s also important to remember that COVID itself very likely was created in the Wuhan Institute of Virology through Gain of Function research. The temptation to play God and craft a virus that will hurt or heal based on your whims is too much for some scientists. Yes, you could potentially cure cancer. You could also wipe out 90% of humanity. We were lucky this time around that covid wasn’t as terrible as it could have been. The response did most of the damage. But never underestimate the mad scientists and their willingness to move forward with another insane scheme. It almost makes one wonder if maybe COVID was engineered so that they could finally get MRNA tech out of a trial phase. But that would just be crazy talk, right?

And these examples are things that are just out there in the public square and are perfectly well documented. You can even talk about Elon Musk and his work to integrate computers with people. And there’s even more weird stuff out there.

All the best stories have a little grain of truth in them. Everybody knows that there’s really a Frankenstein out there just working hard at figuring out how to create his monster. It’s important to remember that just because you may not have a “science degree” doesn’t mean that you aren’t entitled to your opinion on things. And frequently you are probably a better judge of the risks to society than the Scientist, who only wants to try out his cool new thing. God gave you a brain and the ability to reason. Don’t let anyone pressure you into thinking that you aren’t entitled to criticize them. Especially when their Mad Scientist idiocy endangers both you and your family.
